ALMA & CaiaSoft® Accession
Description
The CaiaSoft® / ALMA integration is one-way connection from Caiasoft® to the ALMA API. For items accessed, CaiaSoft® will utilize the ALMA Item and Bib APIs to retrieve attributes (title, author, volume, call number, etc) of each item.
Additionally, opt in options available to:
- Update ALMA record on accession (location,library,internal note,policy,etc)
- Check in or Scan in the item to update the process type and item base status

Required Fields for Setup

| ALMA apikey | string | The API Key for authenticating to the ALMA API. This key requires read-only access to the Bibliographic Records and Inventory ALMA API |
